“ Amazing place! Great coffee options and delicious breakfast sandwiches. It’s a really nice spot to relax if you’re not in a rush. The place has three floors, so there’s plenty of space to enjoy until it starts getting busy — and even then, the staff does a great job managing the crowd. They only let a certain number of people in at a time, so it never feels too crowded. Definitely worth a visit if you’re traveling to Chicago — don’t miss their signature coffee! ”
“ This truly is such an awesome, unique Starbucks experience!! It doesn't even really feel like a Starbucks inside most of the VAST, multi-level space! On level 4, there's a cocktail bar - which is what we primarily visited when we came. There was quite the long line to order, but it moves relatively quickly and we were able to get our food and drink items and find seating along the bar. I went for the Espresso Martini Flight and one of their seasonal Matcha Swirl Butterfly cakes - we also got an Ube Espresso Martini and some of the Margherita Flatbread. Everything we had was great!! My Espresso Martini Flight had great subtle notes of different flavors - with one being a bit citrusy and orange-y, while another was a bit spicier with some mole. The Ube Espresso Martini was a pretty large size and had great flavor to it - you could barely even taste the alcohol in it (but definitely feel it)! Both the flatbread and the swirl cake were also really good quality with excellent textures and flavors. On the ground floor is a large gift shop area, where I bought a few souvenir items both for myself and for some family members that I know would appreciate it! This Starbucks Reserve Roastery is truly an EXPERIENCE, and I definitely recommend going to it when visiting! ”
“ I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a fan of coffee chains, admittedly Starbucks, due to the nature of the coffee tasting burnt, and the labor being simplified via automatic espresso machines, and the "art" of it being taken out of it as a result. However, I was amazed at this location. Coffee was extremely good. Nice, light notes and a good aftertaste. The latte was perfect. Milk was steamed well (not scorched), and there was art. Espresso was rich, balanced. Pastries looked amazing. I have never before seen tiramisu at a location up until now! This wasn't just a coffee shop, this was a whole experience. There was even a bar upstairs. The only downfall was the pricing....which I do understand; quality coffee is not cheap ...but I was still surprised....the smallest cup of drip coffee (normally one of the cheapest items in a coffee shop), was almost $7? It was almost $20 for two cups of coffee. Most third wave coffee shops (not chains) have specialty drip coffee for $3-4 a cup. But I do also understand that this is Chicago. Anyways. I recommend coming here. It's a must for the coffee lover. Multiple levels with something to see and do. Even for those who don't like coffee, there are delicious pastries and other non coffee drinks. I also appreciated the fact that they were fully staffed and baristas were happy and not stressed, despite the fact that it was extremely busy and crowded. It's important to have a good working environment. ”
“ Such a cool place, nothing like it! Instantly hit with the coffee smells when you walk through the entrance. Someone greeted me and there are so many stations, lots of baked goods and of course, coffee! They had an experimental bar where you can craft your own coffee, very cool! Went to the top to take a nice top down picture, the outdoor patio was closed though. Love the sculptures and other art! ”
